I think that the term 'brutal' is a bit overused when describing music these days. However, that's the only term that can really be used to describe Deathcrown. Deathcrown is more brutal than a kitten-stomping contest, and heavier than a sack full of gorilla balls. One of the most impressive aspects to this band is that while they're tearing down the building with their aggression, they manage to keep a precise cadence and rhythm. Listening to Deathcrown, I'm reminded of a quote from George Orwell: "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever." That's Deathcrown in a nutshell.
